Foundations in Graphic Design
Design Principles
Introduction to fundamental design concepts, including typography, color theory, and composition.
Technical Skills
Hands-on training with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to build a strong technical foundation.
Artistic Development
Courses in observational and analytical drawing, as well as digital sketching.
Graphic Culture
Exploration of art and design history, helping students understand the evolution of graphic design and its cultural impact.
Year 2: Advanced Design and Conceptual Development
Project Design: Students work on complex projects, including branding and advertising campaigns.
Specialized Tools: Advanced coursework in Adobe Suite, including After Effects for motion design and Figma for UX/UI.
Communication Strategy: Introduction to visual communication strategies, enabling students to create designs that communicate effectively and connect with audiences.
Professional Portfolio: Students build a professional portfolio, emphasizing their versatility across different design styles and media.
Year 3: Professionalization and Capstone Project
Capstone Project: Under the mentorship of experienced designers, students complete a final project, such as a comprehensive branding or UX/UI campaign, which they present in a professional exhibition.
Client Presentation and Branding: Training in client communication and presentation skills, preparing students for real-world design pitches.
